El libro escrito en tercera persona no es más que una ajustada reseña de lo que el autor debió vivir a su paso por el servicio militar obligatorio. Nada de lo que en él se relata es falso, todos los dichos expresados pueden ser ratificados por aquellos a los que nos tocó la desgracia de estar adentro de un cuartel.
