Reference honoring the cultural and architecture legacy of Daz Morales (b. Mexico) in the centenary of his birth. The present catalogue complements the book "Ignacio Diaz, su pensamiento" and is the result of an exhaustive research in the archive of the Diaz Morales family, examining a large number of documents and selecting for this publication the most representative. The drawings, documents, photographs, plans and elevations of each project are chronologically organized and represent the 7 decades of designs and architectural projects by the noted architect.

As part of the celebration of the Symposium "Shell and Spatial Structures: New Materials and Technologies, New Designs and Innovations -- A Sustainable Approach to Architectural and Structural Design" of the International Association of Special Structures (IASS-SLTE) held October 23-31, 2008 in Acapulco, the Faculty of Architecture of the UNAM developed 3 projects specifically for the occasion: 1) An exhibition of representative scale models of the "golden age" (1950-1975) of the construction of reinforced concrete shells in Mexico; 2) A documentary featuring the characteristics and evolution ...

Presenta la Catedral de Sevilla, como fruto de un proceso creativo de siglos, centrándose en el Barroco. Construida sobre la mezquita almohade, sufrió numerosas obras desde 1401 hasta el siglo XIX, habiendo conservado testimonio de cuantas reformas sufrió y de los bienes muebles con que se decoró, permitiéndonos seguir con detalle el proceso creativo, gracias además a un valioso archivo que permite conocer pormenorizadamente cómo se avanzó en la edificación y adorno del conjunto.

The present research work is based on original manuscripts and testimonies from architect González Gortázar (b. Mexico) regarding his transcendent architecture and urban designs. González Gortázar is considered at present one of the most important architects of México, creator of spaces and urban art that are now geometric symbols and references of the city of Guadalajara in México. The architect strongly practices the concept of "Space and Art" and where the city should never loose their social function for which it was originally conceived and constructed.
