The present research work is based on original manuscripts and testimonies from architect González Gortázar (b. Mexico) regarding his transcendent architecture and urban designs. González Gortázar is considered at present one of the most important architects of México, creator of spaces and urban art that are now geometric symbols and references of the city of Guadalajara in México. The architect strongly practices the concept of "Space and Art" and where the city should never loose their social function for which it was originally conceived and constructed.

Barcelona 1992-2004 offers a selection of chronologically arranged projects that provide an overview of the period that commences with the 1992 Olympic Games and culminates in the huge cultural event that is the Universal Forum of Cultures-Barcelona 2004. The selection has focused in particular on projects involving the city’s openness to the sea and those which have managed to adapt to its existing residential fabric.
