The subject of this artist's sketchbook is an artistic and environmental project that was inaugurated by Cristina Iglesias on November 6, 2010. It concerns an underwater labyrinth, consisting of three submerged rooms built in cement, in the waters off the Espiritu Santo Island in Baja California's Candelero Bay. This volume features 25 architectural works constructed in Chile by architect Valdés between 1963 and 2007. It also comprises a series of texts that the author gathered after several conversations with the architect from 2001 to 2006, in a first-hand account of the creative process established by the architect about design, material, construction and space.

Text (in Spanish) and images complement each other to create a narrative thread that offers informative insights into the architect's intellectual and visual imagination and expands our understanding of Olgiati's oeuvre.
