Anthological exhibition of Cuban photography, fifty artists and one hundred images allow an extensive tour of the development of photography in Cuba since its arrival on the island in 1840 to the present. La Mirada (the gaze) presents nine outside their country almost unknown Latin American artist-photographers. The works of the last 20 years range from straight photography to the staged image.
