Resumen del Libro

Libro CUADERNO DE ARTISTA DE CRISTINA IGLESIAS

The subject of this artist's sketchbook is an artistic and environmental project that was inaugurated by Cristina Iglesias on November 6, 2010. It concerns an underwater labyrinth, consisting of three submerged rooms built in cement, in the waters off the Espiritu Santo Island in Baja California's Candelero Bay. This house will slowly be inhabited by life. The project was promoted by the Fundación Mexicana para la Educación Ambiental A.C. (Fundea), in collaboration with the marine biologists and conservationists of the La Paz Coasts and The San Diego Oceanography Institute. This portfolio contains a series of preliminary drawings by the artist. -- Summary of introduction.

At a time when there are as many architectural philosophies as architects, this volume offers us some answers to the common question of where present-day architecture is going. This view of the current world of architecture is presented through analysis of the projects of the most recognized and respected architects, but also the most innovative ones and those of the new generations.
