Por eso, lo que trata de mostrar este libro es que la suerte del hombre es también la suerte o el destino de la cultura. El autor de sus páginas, reflexiona sobre la cultura y nos aporta ideas para su reconstrucción a través de tres fuentes clásicas: la verdad, el bien y la belleza. Se trataría, según él, de recuperar una noción amplia de cultura que anhela y busca el punto de encuentro entre las ciencias y las humanidades, entre la alta y la baja cultura.

This study offers a rigorous analysis of Marcos Aguinis' works from the double theoretical perspective of his Jewish and Latin American identities. It contextualizes Aguinis' fiction in the historical space in which the stories take place, paying special attention to the cyclical recurrence of oppression, intolerance, and discrimination. A study of the evolution of settlement patterns in the Vera Basin and Almanzora river valley in Almeriá, south-east Spain.
