El 2 de Abril de 1.954, llegó al puerto de Barcelona el Semíramis, barco cuya carga principal estaba formada por 248 españoles, integrantes de la denominada División Azul que, luego de trece años de cautiverio en Rusia, volvían liberados a su país. Finalizados los iniciales momentos de entusiasmo popular, seguido de agasajos locales y declaraciones oficiales de bienvenida, los recién llegados, en su mayoría soldados, fueron enviados a sus lugares de origen, en tanto que los oficiales (tres capitanes, tres tenientes y dos alféreces) se reincorporaban a la vida militar profesional....
