Resumen del Libro

Toda antología comienza presentando un cúmulo de explicaciones y de justificaciones que pretenden dar debida cuenta no sólo de su intención, sino que también expone un razonamiento argumentado y lógico -aunque a veces esta lógica se fundamenta, en parte, en criterios que poseen un carácter inevitablemente subjetivo- que intenta cubrirse las espaldas ante ese posible tirón de orejas que suele aparecer tras su publicación. Sin ánimo de crear malentendidos ni de suscitar equívocos, Lunas de la voz ausente persigue ser ante todo, y antes que nada, una antología poética que muestre la poesía de una serie de autoras canarias de la primera mitad del siglo XX. A lo largo de la centuria anterior, hemos podido observar una sucesión progresiva de cambios relacionados con la mujer que se han ido asentando paulatinamente. Estos cambios van desde la situación cultural, con una mayor presencia femenina en la educación y en los estudios, pasando por su gradual integración en los diversos ámbitos de la vida social, y en lo que aquí nos atañe, asistimos a una mayor inmersión de la mujer en el mundo de la literatura.
