Ofelia and Amoke appear to be complete opposites. The only things they have in common are an elderly, eccentric author named Virginia Wonnacott, the Hiraeth Association, and the feeling that something is missing from their lives. When Virginia offers Ofelia a job as her personal assistant, the lives of the two girls merge.
