Libro Dora, la hija del Sol

Dora, una niña mulata, y su abuelo viven realquilados en la casa de la Viuda sin Corazón, que los humilla y los espía con su loro Rigoletto. Un compañero de la clase de Dora, Charli, y su Mala Sombra hacen la vida imposible a Dora. Para explicar a la niña por qué el color de su piel es diferente, su abuelo le cuenta que todos venimos de Pinganillo, el volcán de las burbujas. Dora conseguirá vencer las sombras que la atormentan y recuperar la amistad de Charli. Para ello, va a ser fundamental la ayuda de Liang, la cocinera de un restaurante chino.
