Resumen del Libro

The present edition publishes part of the research papers presented during the "Seminario de Investigación Arquitectura para la Producción" organized by the university of Michoacán between 2001 and 2002 that included the participation of national and international academics. The book gathers 23 collective and individual multidisciplinary works that examine from various perspectives the history of architecture in rural areas. Works are mainly focused in the colonial territory of the ex-bishopry of Michoacán divided in 4 main topics: Space, settlements, technology and environment and property control and structure.
