The book is an historic and graphical account of the patios of "vecindad" (neighbourhood) in the port city of Veracruz, in a period that goes from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 21st century. The foreword of this edition, states that the first record of a patio of a "vecindad" dates back to 1791, highlighting that those patios have seen the early years of musician and singer "Toña la Negra" and were the place of origin of the famous "picadas" from Veracruz, one of the most popular snacks of the jarocha traditional cuisine.

Architectural guide to the city of Guadalajara, with a selection of close to 300 buildings representative of all time periods. The guide is divided in 3 sections: the first, the largest and medullar part of the book is the presentation of the buildings; a second section is an inventory of buildings important in the history of the city but now disappeared, and a third section includes location maps with recommended itineraries and routes. Each entry includes the name, date and brief history of the building and the name of the architect.

La obra de Antoni Gaudí nos sigue fascinando hoy tanto como fascinó a Eusebi Güell, que en la exposición de París de 1878 quiso contactar con el autor desconocido de una vitrina para exponer guantes al que acabaría encargando hasta cinco significativos proyectos arquitectónicos. Basta pensar en cómo la Sagrada Família, su última y principal obra, sigue admirando hoy tanto o más que a principios del siglo XX, cuando a penas despuntaban sus primeras cuatro torres. Pero el rastro de su genio en Barcelona, Catalunya y España, e incluso sus proyectos no realizados, como el rascacielos...

En estas líneas se pretende simplemente, dar un detenido paseo por nuestro contexto cultural, que nos ayude en la aprensión y la consignación de las experiencias no cuantificables de la arquitectura (como los métodos de representación de las calidades sonoras y lumínicas) y que arroje algo de luz sobre un fenómeno tan antiguo como vasto y todavía resbaladizo.
