Matématica inclusiva
Resumen del Libro
Our society has the obligation of guaranteeing the access to quality mathematics education to everybody and with that to advance the improvement of citizenship conditions. “Inclusive Mathematics. Proposals for an accessible mathematics education” seeks to be an instrument to help attain this end. Throughout the book the authors propose forms of reconstructing the relationship of people with mathematics by means of diverse fundamental principles of mathematics education: critical thinking, use of materials, games and attention to diversity. Mathematics education based on these principles has to highlight, in turn, the most general principles in view of contextualization in the places where it is practised; globalization of the learning groups involved and the personalization of the mathematical contents in function of the specificity of each person. These and other principles are dealt with in the book in an interrelated way based on classroom experience.
