El reinado de los Reyes Católicos, es un momento trascendental para Sevilla,una de las ciudades más importantes y populosas de Castilla. Los monarcas modernizaron las instituciones municipales medievales, para convertirlas en las que perduraron todo el Antiguo Régimen.
