Desde entonces y hasta nuestros d as, la capital argentina ha albergado tanto a personajes mundialmente afamados por su talento, como a oscuros fabricantes de silencios.

Pocas obras pueden satisfacer tantos planos y esta es una de ellas. La importancia de esta publicacion puede registrarse a partir de un Alfonso Reyes como parte de la galeria de diplomaticos excepcionales con los que ha contado Mexico desde su epoca independiente; por conmemorar, por medio de su figura como presidente, 60 anos de historia academica de El Colegio de Mexico y por sellar la siempre tradicional y estrecha colaboracion entre la Secretaria de Relaciones Exteriores y esta casa de estudios.
