Resumen del Libro

Este libro es producto de la ambición del reportero que no se conformó con la labor de consignar las noticias del día a día y comenzó a unir piezas para darle un sentido a esa realidad veracruzana que horroriza, impide mirarla de frente y pareciera escapar de toda lógica. Es un esfuerzo por mostrar el paisaje oculto de un hermoso estado que, de ser considerado un paraíso terrenal, se convirtió en sucursal del infierno. El libro está formado por un caleidoscopio de historias que echan lupa a los momentos considerados puntos de quiebre del sexenio duartista, aunque, en esa montaña rusa del espanto, lo que se pensaba que ya era el límite, que nada podría ser peor, siempre termino, desbancado por otro nuevo suceso. Noé Zavaleta rescata de sus libretas aquella información reporteada que no cupo en la nota del día, la retoma, le da contexto, la hilvana con otros hechos y la moldea hasta que encuentra una forma narrativa.
