La Revista de Bioética y Derecho se creó en 2004 a iniciativa del Observatorio de Bioética y Derecho (OBD), con el soporte del Máster en Bioética y Derecho de la Universidad de Barcelona: www.bioeticayderecho.ub.edu/master. Life and work of polemic architect and urbanist Meyer (b. Switzerland), one of the most important functionalists of the 1920's. The former director of the Bauhaus, he worked for the Post-Revolutionary Regimes in Mexico as the director of the Instituto del Urbanismo y Planification from 1942 through 1949, while also becoming the editor of the collective graphic workshop Taller de Grafica Popular (TGP) from 1947 to 1949. Many plates of his architectural designs and the structural diagrams Meyer used for the Bauhaus and in IUP in Mexico.

En estas líneas se pretende simplemente, dar un detenido paseo por nuestro contexto cultural, que nos ayude en la aprensión y la consignación de las experiencias no cuantificables de la arquitectura (como los métodos de representación de las calidades sonoras y lumínicas) y que arroje algo de luz sobre un fenómeno tan antiguo como vasto y todavía resbaladizo.

The present research work is based on original manuscripts and testimonies from architect González Gortázar (b. Mexico) regarding his transcendent architecture and urban designs. González Gortázar is considered at present one of the most important architects of México, creator of spaces and urban art that are now geometric symbols and references of the city of Guadalajara in México. The architect strongly practices the concept of "Space and Art" and where the city should never loose their social function for which it was originally conceived and constructed.
