La Voluntad de ser

La revolución de los arrendires reconstruye la historia de la reforma agraria en La Convención, Cusco, desde una perspectiva testimonial. A partir de los recuerdos de la familia del autor y de otras familias campesinas que estuvieron involucradas en la muerte del hacendado Alberto Duque, se relata y reflexiona sobre las protestas agrarias que acabaron con el régimen de haciendas e hicieron de La Convención una dinámica comunidad de pequeños propietarios.

La novela El alado alazán es la historia de un jinete y un caballo, de sus andanzas, vicisitudes y buenos momentos. El protagonista «humano» es don Gonzalo Téllez de Meneses, que se formó en la Escuela de Tercios de Madrid, y es destinado al Destacamento de Caballería de Costa de Alicante, durante el reinado de Felipe II, en el siglo XVI, esa edad de oro de nuestra literatura y de nuestra cultura.
